Google Finally Adds Option to Download All Songs From Google Music
Jan 26th
Rejoice! No more having to download each track one by one if you want to download your entire music collection from Google Music. Google has heard the cries of those who want a quick and easy way to download their collection to their computer and they have come through with an update that will allow just that.
The process is done through both their Music Manager app and the web and it allows you to download both music you’ve uploaded and music you purchased from Google Music. Music purchased through Google Music can only be downloaded from the web twice but you’ll still be able to get that music through Google Music Manager after that.
That was by far my biggest complain about the service and now that Google has solved that I’m quite comfortable with buying music from the service. Head here for instructions and here for the confirmation. [via Lifehacker]

Motorola Adds The iPhone 4S to it’s Legal Fight Against Apple
Jan 26th
Motorola has added the iPhone 4S and iCloud to a legal battle going on in the Sunshine State of Florida. This battle is not a new one but rather just an add on to an existing case already in the system. However this one now adds the iPhone 4S and iCloud to the list of infringements that Motorola claims Apple committed.
Motorola claims six patents have been infringed upon by Apple, They are as follows;
U.S. Patent No. 5,710,987 on a “receiver having concealed external antenna”- U.S. Patent No. 5,754,119 on a “multiple pager status synchronization system and method”; Motorola is asserting the European equivalent of this patent against Apple in Mannheim, with a decision scheduled for Friday of next week (February 3, 2012)
- U.S. Patent No. 5,958,006 on a “method and apparatus for communicating summarized data”
- U.S. Patent No. 6,101,531 on a “system for communicating user-selected criteria filter prepared at wireless client to communication server for filtering data transferred from host to said wireless client”
- U.S. Patent No. 6,008,737 on an “apparatus for controlling utilization of software added to a portable communication device”
- U.S. Patent No. 6,377,161 on a “method and apparatus in a wireless messaging system for facilitating an exchange of address information”

New Gmail App Adds “Experimental” Feature – Get It Now For Your Galaxy Nexus [Download]
Jan 24th
Looks like Google wrapped up a bonus treat for Ice Cream Sandwich on the ASUS Transformer Prime. Apparently, users found a new “experiments” option inside of the native Gmail app. Normally when dealing with Android, you generally want to be wary of anything labeled as “experimental” but in this case, you need not worry.
So whats the deal with this new “experiements” thang? Well, it enables a few new optional features inside of Gmail — one that allows you to search inside of emails and the other that enables drag-and-drop functionality of “contact chips” (or small contact tiles) inside Gmail. Nothing too fancy but none-the-less very helpful if you spend a lot of time inside your Gmail app.
While the new Gmail version 4.0.3-239410 came bundled inside the Ice Cream Sandwich for the Transformer Prime, Galaxy Nexus users, were sadly, left with the older version. But don’t fret because the all new Gmail app — complete with Experimental feature — has been extracted and is ready for the downloading (no root required) via the link below. Enjoy.
If you are rooted, this version is said to work on any Android 4.0 ROM so give it a try. If it doesn’t work, simply uninstall and download the Market version. No harm, no foul. We still have no clue when we can expect this version to officially hit the Android Market but I imagine it wont be very long now.
