Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX drops to $200 on contract

If you want to get one of the longest lasting devices in the smartphone game today, Verizon’s just made their best option a lot more attractive. The DROID RAZR MAXX has taken a $100 price drop. For just $200 you can get a phone that has a 3,300 mAh battery built in and still maintains a thickness profile of just 8.99mm. It also has a dual-core Tegra 2 processor, LTE, and we’re willing to bet it will be one of the first Motorola phones to get Android 4.0 on Verizon. (Though we’re still not sure where Motorola is in regards to that.) If you want to take advantage, you can do so at Verizon Wireless or Amazon Wireless.

Blue Motorola Droid RAZR available now in select stores, online May 17

A leak over the weekend outed its existence and now Verizon has it for sale. A blue version of the Motorola Droid RAZR is now available, the latest in a rainbow of color options for the handset that seems almost redundant considering the existence of the Droid RAZR MAXX. Select stores have the blue RAZR in stock and ready for purchase starting today. It will see a wider release when on May 17th when it will be available online. Nothing changes between this version of the Droid RAZR and previous incarnations in black, white, and purple. That includes its rapidly aging Gingerbread OS.
